Sanjhi Sikhiya Dinner ←

We had the pleasure of hosting Simranpreet Singh Oberoi, co-founder of Sanjhi Sikhiya, a collective movement of young professionals committed to advancing systemic educational reform in Punjab. We heard firsthand about the education challenges facing Punjab and the work Sanjhi Sikhiya has undertaken over the past six years to help address them. The conversation highlighted the important role of youth as catalysts for change, including the development of youth-led programs that inspire leadership and community engagement.

We also explored the importance of strengthening partnerships between communities and schools, as well as meaningful ways we can contribute and support this work from afar. It was another uplifting and inspiring evening centered on learning, service, and our shared commitment to creating positive change.
